Company Searches International provides Business Reports on all registered businesses in France and Financial Reports on all companies required to file.
The Full Company name & at least the town where the company registered is required to undertake a search, as businesses in France register locally rather than centrally. There are over 120 registries.
Financial Information
a) From an in-house library which we can check at the time of order. We have a number of quoted company annual reports in house which may be in English.
We can extract the full profit & loss, balance sheet and notes to the accounts from a French database. These will be provided in ENGLISH.
This information can be provided on the same/following day of your order.

Principal Business Types
Societe Anonyme (SA)
Corporation. All public companies and large private companies. Must have a share
capital of at least FF250,000 if a private company or FF1.5m if public company.
Minimum number of shareholders required is 7.
Societe a Responsabilite Limite (SARL)
Ltd liability company. Must have share capital (minimum) FF50,000. Minimum number of "partners" is one, and the maximum is 50.
Societe en Commandite par actions (SCA)
Ltd partnership limited by shares. This form of business is not very common in France.
Societe en Commandite Simple (SCS)
Limited Partnership where the managing partners have unlimited personal liability and the limited partners are liable only to the extent of capital contributions. This form of business is not very common in France.
Societe en Nom Collectif (SNC)
General Partnership. The partners have unlimited personal liability.
Affaire Personelle - Sole Trader
Sole trade requires that the party has a business permit and a residence permit, unless he is an EC national. He is totally liable for debts.
ACCOUNTS FILING REQUIREMENTS
Accounts are deposited locally with the clerk of the commercial court i.e. within the region that a particular company is operating. These accounts are then filed at the Institut
National de la Propriet Industrielle.
