Company Searches International provides Business Reports on all registered businesses in Greece and Financial Reports on all companies required to file.
Full Company Name and Address will always be required to undertake a search.
Financial Information
a)From an in-house library which we can check at the time of order. We have a number of quoted company annual reports in house which may be in English.
b)We can apply to a correspondent in Greece for the full accounts on all companies obliged to file. These will contain a 3 year financial summary i.e. profit & loss and balance sheets and will be provided in ENGLISH.

Principal Business Types
Anonymos Eteria (AE) or Societe Anonyme (SA)
May be private or public. Private companies must have a minimum share capital of
Drs 5 million and public companies must have a minimum share capital of Drs 10 million.
Specialist companies such as banks and insurance companies have other minimum capital requirements.
Eteria Periorismenis Efthinis (EPE)
Private limited company. This has to have a minimum share capital of only Drs 200,000 and is not permitted to offer bonds to the public.

Company Accounts Filing Requirements
AEs or SAs are obliged to file their annual financial statements with the Ministry of Commerce. These include:-
- directors' report
- balance sheet
- detailed profit & loss account
- auditor's report
- Notes to financial statements
The accounts must also be published in the Government Gazette and in one of the four leading financial daily newspapers.
The balance sheet must also be printed in one of the general daily newspapers.
